World is growing faster and bigger every other day. Gadgets or stuffs you have been using yesterday or today may not exist tomorrow and this is the reason we are upgrading. I certainly hope that during my entire life, technology would become so and so vast that instead of writing articles, I would just be closing my eyes, creating a brain contact with you and somehow you will also be understanding my language and and and this is definitely not a No Go in my opinion.

Magic Leap is the future of Augmented Reality.
In case you are unaware about Augmented Reality then let me make it clear to you. This is a technology that blends or mixes the real world contents with computer generated images/information and is presented on a computer screen or on a mobile phone, creating interactive experience for the user. Magic Leap is based on a technology: Dynamic Digitized Light field Signal (an attempt to create 3D micro display.)
The company will be developing head mounted display or headsets to display virtual images on the real world and this technology will make a blend between real and virtual content almost undetectable.
If you are thinking that virtual and augmented reality is the same just because both of them display virtual images by wearing a headset, then you are mistaken. I suggest you to check out the next segment to get it more clarified.
- It creates a virtual world and makes it feel real in which a user can interact with its virtual contents.
- Being in a virtual world, the user is separated or cut off from the real world.
- It is usually delivered to the user through a head mounted display or hand held device.
- Example: Oculus Rift
- It mixes or blends the virtual world with the real world in which a user can interact with its content
- The user can continue to be in real world while interacting with virtual objects.
- It is delivered more in mobile devices such as laptops, Smartphone and tablets.
- Example: Pokémon Go.
HOW MAGIC LEAP HEADSET WORKS?
As of now, the working style of hardware, software, sensors and core processors have not been revealed and it still remains secrecy.
The main concept which is making Magic Leap separate from the crowd is that it is eliminating screens. The projector displays images on a screen then the rays are bounced back from the screen and penetrate our eyes. This is how; we are able to see that image.
Magic leap is totally different because it doesn’t need any screen to bounce or reflect as our retina is directly hit by rays making it feel much real. It has confirmed that use of screens will be over and users will no longer have to watch their phone or televisions screens. Instead of interacting with the phone’s screens, you will be interacting with its content virtually.
PRICES AND LAUNCH DATES
As per the announcements, the headsets will be comfortable, mobile and would be working effectively. Price of Magic Leap Augmented Reality Headsets would be something around $3000 and the first demo is set for the end of 2016 with official reveal at C E S (Consumer Electronics Show) in 2017 at Las Vegas.
